Laundry with a View

Laundry at Watterson is different. Maybe it’s the fact that we have the best view in all of Bloomington-Normal, or maybe it is that the whole floor has a fresh laundry sent. Whatever it is it's pretty cool it is not at all like back home where you would have to go to your basement to do laundry. From the north tower you get a great view of the quad and from the south tower you can see all of down town Bloomington. No matter what side you decide to do your laundry on you will get a great view. The way the top floor is set up is there is a lounge that raps itself around the whole building and in the middle of each tower is the rooms where the laundry is done. But you don't have to sit inside the laundry room while your cloths are getting cleaned there are plenty of couches to sit on in the lounge with priceless views. The people here are really friendly to always happy to spot you a quarter if you need one, or even share some laundry detergent. The laundry room in my opinion is a little small on room and the door slams every time you walk in but other than that the room its self isn't too bad. The room also has red benches and folding tables. But both are made out of plastic so i wouldn't recommend sitting on the bench in here because it can get pretty uncomfortable. Also the red folding table has a collection of cloths that have been lost looking for their owner. Hopefully somebody will come to claim them.
