Laundry in the residence halls!

Laundry is something that most students have had their parents do for them since they were little. Now reality has hit and we are all now on our own, away from our parents learning how to survive. It's time to grow up, but it would be nice if ISU made this laundry transition a little easier for us. Laundry can be a simple task to complete but when there are not enough washers and dryers in the buildings it can become interesting very fast. Most of the time when you go to do your laundry in Hewitt there are no washing machines open so you have to wait to get a one. Than you put your laundry in and when its time to put your clothes in the dryer, you now have to wait for a dryer. So your standing there with all your wet laundry not really sure what to do at this point. Sometimes I have had my "laundry time" be as long as 4 hours. As college student I think that most of us could find more productive schoolwork that we could be doing with our time. I think that ISU needs to make our laundry rooms larger. There are not enough washing and drying machines to the amount of people that live in the residence hall. This would make the transition for the students who are just learning how to do laundry a lot easier and one less thing for us to worry about as new college students.
